With so much thought and effort put into running a business, the small things can sometimes be forgotten. TasksĀ like keeping stocked up on office supplies, or paying some off some of the less obvious bills, are often pushed to the sidelines when the business is in full swing. But taking a few moments to stop and consider these smaller tasks can often be a cathartic and constructive thing to do.
Like taking a deep breath after being underwater, taking some time to do the basic jobs is a great way to give some perspective about what is going on. Not only does it allow those jobs to be completed, but it is a great way to see how (or if) those jobs are done on a day to day basis. From here it’s easy to see if there’s any room for improvementĀ and allows some planning time towards how that can be done.
