If you’re finding that your CTAs aren’t prompting too much engagement then perhaps it’s time to think about updating them or changing their design.
A CTA is a ‘call to action’, and it’s designed to send visitors to a particular page of your website, or perhaps perform a particular task, such as adding another item to your car, learning more about a sale or heading to your contact page to send a message. There are no limits as to how you can use a CTA, but if it’s not working as well as you’d like, then perhaps you need to think carefully about the colours, positioning on the page, imagery and text. Is everything clear? Are the visuals nice and sharp? Does it respond well on mobile devices? These are just some of the questions you need to ask yourself, but so long as you think carefully about it’s purpose and design it accordingly, you should see more people clicking that CTA!
