Circuit Modelling and Bread Board Modelling
Circuit modelling is a process that takes place after a CAD (computer aided design) drawing has been created. The model is a mock up of a potential design. It is used to make sure the requirements that the potential circuit will meet the requirements of the brief and the specification upon completion.
Bread board modelling is a common form of modelling that uses a prototype board, also known as a bread board. This is a board covered with small sockets into which components can be plugged.
Breadboards are a only used as a temporary method of arranging a circuit, this means that the components are not permanently attached and it is still viable to move them around or to replace them in order to evaluate possible improvements to the circuit.
Both forms of modelling can be used to test a design. Once a design has been evaluated, this can be used to create the final product.
